Service Description

Enjoy traditional, ancestral foods and elixirs prepared and served that are appropriate for the first weeks of postpartum that are warm in temperature, warm in nature, easy to digest and nutrient-dense. These meals and herbal infusions are carefully curated to promote health and healing. All food and elixirs are prepared from scratch using whole, organic, local ingredients inspired by the season. Items are gluten and dairy-free and are properly prepared for digestibility. Meal box includes: *1 meal (4x Servings) *1 snack *1 quart of herbal infusion *1 deluxe elixir drink Nourish Meal Box Example: ☾ New Mother’s Porridge: Oats & Chia Congee. Oat porridge to supply mama with milk-making energy to boost lactation and provide an excellent source of nutrition. So delicious, the whole family can dig-in. Served with maple syrup, ghee, fresh berries and chopped nuts. 6 Servings ☾Deluxe Elixir: Sleep Nectar Having trouble relaxing into rest? This soothing warm drink combining chamomile, lavender and honey is the perfect aid to help calm the nerves and let the body know it’s time to slow down. 2 Servings ☾Herbal Infusion: Raspberry Leaf. Improves uterine strength before and after birth while enhancing milk flow and quality. Enjoy this tasty herbal drink with a cinnamon stick twist. 1 Quart ☾Sweets & Treats: Chocolate Mousse. A decadent, creamy treat to indulge by the spoonful. This guilt-free dessert’s main ingredient is avocado and can be paired with any topping you please, such as shredded coconut and cacao nibs or fresh berries and whipped coconut cream. 4 Servings Nourishing Kitchen Meal Plan can be purchased as a single session or as a package of four. It can also be paired with our Rest & Receive Sessions for the ultimate postpartum care experience for deep nourishment. Meals can be picked up in Clementsvale, NS for free or delivered for a small fee calculated at the time of booking.

Terms and Conditions

The following policy applies to all services events and programs (in person and or online) unless a specific event or program explicitly modifies it. ​Cancellation Policy Overall policy - there are no refunds. Kristyna reserves the right to review refund requests on a case by case basis under special circumstances. Under this clause, should a refund be approved, refunds are subject to a administrative fee of at least 20% Registration can be transferred to another person if requested in writing by e‐mail. Requests will be reviewed and approved on a case by case basis. All requests for substitutions or transfers must be received via email at least 7 days before the booking date with the name and contact email for both the registered and replacement participants. Amendments: Kristyna Shea reserves the right to modify the program up to the day of the event. It may be necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances, to alter the program, venue and/or speakers. Regrettably, this means no refunds or credits can be issued in line with the cancellation policy. Change in Date: If unforeseen circumstances cause Kristyna Shea to change the date of an event, all participants will be informed as soon as possible and a transfer to the new dates will be offered. If the new date is unacceptable, participants can request a full refund. Cancellation: If unforeseen circumstances cause Kristyna Shea to cancel an event, all participants will be informed as soon as possible and a full registration fee refund will be made. In the event of a cancellation, Kristyna Shea accepts no responsibility for covering travel, hotel or other costs incurred by participants and guests. Inclement weather: a participant’s ability to attend an event because of weather, while regrettable, is not cause for a refund. Other Terms and Conditions All purchases made on this site form a contract with Kristyna Shea, all these contracts will be governed by the law of Nova Scotia. Kristyna Shea offers guidance and activity suggestions through our programs, however the life decisions you make and actions you take as a result of any of our programs and events are entirely up to you. Kristyna Shea, her staff, volunteers, sub-contractors and directors assume no responsibility for any of your actions or decisions following our programs and events. When booking services involving hands on treatments through this website, you are releasing Kristyna Shea of any responsibility for adverse reactions following treatment.
